ReplyDeletemeh, she needs to work a bit on the photoshop skills. the concepts are cool but there are a few spots where it just looks offputting because she didn't do a good job integrating different aspects of the photo together...

ReplyDeleteThe image with the bloodied hand streak is truly astonishing and striking, and - dare I say? - unique. Hard to turn away from, and is both beautiful and magical when it has no damn business being either. Many of the other images show great promise. Someone to keep your eye on, who will hopefully grow and develop and grasp what she's reaching for more frequently. Please don't let this turn out to be a university project where we find her working in an office in five years time, bitter and jaded. (Is this now the reviewer talking about the artist, or himself??)
